Every year, rumors are floating about the brand’s new features at the Baselworld watch show. Rolex novelties are generally the most expected by the market. For this 2019 edition, which takes place from 21 to 26 March, Rolex has kept the suspense until the last minute as usual.
KRONOS 360 presents the 3 much awaited novelties:
ROLEX Yacht-Master 42 white gold and ceramic bezel
This nautical watch, recognizable by its bi-directional rotating bezel is now available in 42 mm. This new model in grey gold is equipped with a ceramic bezel and a black lacquered dial. This watch, equipped with the calibre 3235, has a power reserve of 70 hours.
ROLEX GMT-Master II 126710 BLNR « Batman »
The persistent rumor for weeks has been confirmed: after the success of the launch of the «Pepsi» on a jubilee bracelet in 2018, Rolex launches the «Batman» on a jubilee bracelet this year.
Designed to simultaneously display two different time zones, the Rolex GMT-Master II is a cult watch. The new 2019 model features a 24-hour Cerachrom graduated disc, a two-way blue and black ceramic rotating bezel and a jubilee bracelet. On the movement side, this new model is fitted with the caliber with a power reserve of 70 hours.
ROLEX Sea-Dweller yellow Rolesor
For this 2019 edition, Rolex presents a gold/steel (called Rolesor) version of the Sea-Dweller 43 mm model that was launched in 2017 for the 50 years of this reference. This is the first time a precious metal has been used in the Sea Dweller range. On the movement side, this new model is also equipped with the calibre 3235 (used on the Yacht-master) with a power reserve of 70 hours. Small detail to remember, the inscription «Sea-Dweller» on the dial is no longer red but yellow gold color.
