We will not add to it in watches that celebrate – with more or less happiness – the New Year (lunar) dear to Asian cultures, but the Minotaur watch of the independent Russian watchmaker Konstantin Chaykin has the intelligence to discreetly marry the celebration of the Year of the Ox (or of the Buffalo, or of the Cow: go to know, it’s quite fuzzy!) linking it to the cult of the bull in ancient European cultures, from the Greek Minotaur to the Spanish corrida.
In this zoomorphic watch, we will appreciate not only the almost Minoan alphabet of numbers and letters, but also the wink of the “horns” of the watch in the shape of a... horns! The hours are read in the left eye (white dot), the minutes being displayed in the right eye.
